12U State Champion Runner Up!

12u Mayflower Eagle Baseball

Our 12u Eagle Baseball team went undefeated in the regular season and through the district tournament. This team was able to earn their 2nd consecutive District Championship. Upon arriving in the State tournament they faced off against a strong Perryville team where the Eagles won 9-0. They then faced off against Lamar and won that game 17-3 in the second round of State. The third round came where they faced off against an extremely talented Hector team and lost 6-3. This placed them in the losers bracket where they had to battle back facing off in the fourth round against a talented Prospects team where they won 9-4. This sealed their way into the Championship Game. They faced off against Hector once again in a very tough battle. After multiple score changes going back and forth all 6 innings, the Eagles fell just short with a final of 8-7 in the State Championship.

After Winning the State Championship last year, this was their second year in a row to be in the Championship Game. These boys had an amazing run at it out scoring their opponents 194 to 71 on the entire season. They Averaged 14.92 runs per game and allowed an average of 5.46 runs per game. Their final record for this season was 13-2 with the only loses coming in the State Tournament.

Shout out to the Coaches Korey Davis, Tyler Haggins, and Bradley Holst for volunteering and supporting these kids all year long. Thank you to the parents who allowed them to play and who got them to all the games and practices.
